Baked Celery Root Fries
Ingredients
- 1/2 celeriac
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp harissa
- 2 tbsp brown rice syrup
- 1/4 tbsp ground coriander
- 1/8 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tbsp onion powder
- 1 pinch fine sea salt
- 1 tbsp water
Notes
Preheat the oven carefully to 225 degrees F (99 degrees C) — Line a massive baking layer with aluminum foil and spot in the oven to preheat.
Spot celeriac in a bowl; shower olive oil over and season with salt and black pepper. Hurl fries to coat equally.
Expel baking sheet from the hot oven. Move fries to the baking sheet in a solitary layer with some space between them.
Prepare in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
While fries heat, join tomato glue, tomato sauce, apple juice vinegar, harissa, dark-colored rice syrup, coriander, garlic powder, onion powder, and ocean salt in a little bowl. Blend to consolidate until smooth. Include water, 1/4 teaspoon at once until wanted consistency. Put ketchup in a safe spot.
Expel fries from oven and increment oven temperature to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Flip chips and return the baking sheet to the hot oven. Heat until fresh, around 15 minutes more.
Serve celery root fries with harissa ketchup.
