
Gigantes (Greek Lima Beans)
Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounces) lima beans package dried
- 2 (16 ounces) cans chopped tomatoes with juice
- 1 cup olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic chopped
- sea salt to taste
Notes
Spot the lima beans in a huge pan. Pour enough water to fill to 2 crawls above the top of the seeds. Permit to drench medium-term.
Preheat oven properly to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Spot the pan over medium heat; heat to the point of boiling; lessen heat to medium-low and stew 20 minutes; channel. Empty the beans into a 9 x 13 preparing dish. Include the tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, salt, and dill; blend.
Heat in preheated oven for 1/2 to 2 hours, blending every so often and including water if the blend seems dry.
