
Mediterranean Baked Chicken Breast
Ingredients
- 2 (8 ounce) chicken breasts skinless, boneless
- salt and black pepper freshly ground
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 tbsp dried oregano or more to taste
- 1/4 tbsp dried thyme or more to taste
Notes
Season chicken bosoms appropriately with salt and pepper on all sides and spot in a bowl or lidded compartment. Join olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, and thyme in a little bowl and pour marinade over chicken bosoms. Marinate for 10 minutes at room temperature.
Preheat oven carefully to 400 degrees F (210 degrees C). Set one oven rack around six crawls from the heat source.
Spot chicken bosoms into a heating dish and pour marinade on top.
Heat chicken on the center rack of the preheated oven until never again pink in the middle and the juices run clear, 35 to 45 minutes, contingent on thickness. Move to prepare the dish to the top rack and broil chicken until all-around caramelized, around 5 minutes.
