
Pasta Fagioli Soup II
Ingredients
- 29 ounces tomatoes diced
- 2 (14 ounce) cans beans great northern
- 1 (14 ounces) can chop spinach drained
- 2 (14.5 ounces) can chicken broth
- 1 (8 ounces) can tomato sauce
- 3 cups water
- 1 tbsp garlic minced
- 8 slices crisp-cooked bacon crumbled
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tbsp dried basil
- 1/2 pound pasta seashell
Notes
In a large stockpot, mix diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, garlic, bacon, beans, spinach, chicken broth, parsley, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and basil. Take to a boil, and let simmer it for 40 minutes, covered.
Combine pasta and cook uncovered until pasta is tender for about 10 minutes. Ladle soup into different serving bowls, spray cheese on top and serve.
