
Penne with Shrimp
Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounces) pasta package penne
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup red onion chopped
- 1 tbsp garlic chopped
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 2 cans (14.5 ounces) tomatoes diced
- 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1 cup cheese grated Parmesan
Notes
Take a large pot of carefully salted water to a boil. Combine pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or till al dente; drain.
Heat the oil properly in a skillet over medium temperature. Mix in onion and garlic, and cook it until onion is tender. Stir in wine and tomatoes, and continue cooking 10 minutes, mixing irregularly.
Mix the shrimp into the skillet, and cook 5 minutes, or until opaque. Toss it with pasta and top with Parmesan cheese to serve.
