Mussels Marinara di Amore
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 (14.5 ounces) can tomatoes crushed
- 1/2 tbsp oregano dried
- 1/2 tbsp basil dried
- 1 pinch red pepper flake crushed
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 pound mussels cleaned and debearded
- 8 ounces linguine pasta
- 1 lemon cut into wedges, for garnish
Mussels Marinara di Amore: In a large skillet over medium heat, warm oil and sauté garlic until straightforward.
Include tomatoes, oregano, basil and red pepper chips to skillet; decrease the heat to low to stew for 5 minutes.
In the interim, heat a huge pot of salted water to the point of boiling. Combine pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until still somewhat firm; channel and hold.
Add wine and mussels to skillet; spread and increment heat to high for 3 to 5 minutes or until mussel shells are open.
Pour over hot pasta, sprinkle with parsley and press lemon wedge overall. Trimming with remaining lemon and serve.
